Caer Dallben

A demo painting made for class that I ended up rendering - it's an image of Dallben's farm with Taran and Col from the Prydain novels. The narrative doesn't quite make sense - Col's forge should be in the image somewhere - but it was still fun to paint.

Final

Colour block-in and adjusted Taran's position relative to picture plane. Mostly solid colours with washes over top using Multiply layers.

Line layer to establish shape, content and characters.

Geo block in to establish spatial relationships.
